The Suma ( Pfaffia paniculata ), also known as "Brazilian ginseng" is an herb native to the Amazon rainforest. The powder from its dried root is traditionally used to boost vitality and stamina. Suma root is distinguished by its extremely rich and complex nutritional identity:
Nutrients: Contains 19 different amino acids , electrolytes and minerals such as iron, magnesium, zinc, silicon and cobalt .
Vitamins: It is a source of vitamins A, B1, B2, E, K and pantothenic acid.
Culinary Uses & Preparation
Suma powder has a mild, earthy and slightly bitter taste with undertones reminiscent of nuts or wood. 

Suma Tea: Add 1 teaspoon of powder to 1 cup of boiling water. Cover and let steep for 2-4 minutes (or simmer for a stronger flavor).
Smoothies & Breakfast: Easily mixes into smoothies, juices, yogurt, cereal or muesli.
Lattes & Beverages: It goes ideally with hot beverages with cocoa, cinnamon, ginger or honey , which help balance its flavor.
Baking: Can be incorporated into recipes for energy bars or baked goods, although exposure to very high temperatures may affect some phytonutrients.
