Stinging Nettle Dried Cut Root Loose Herbal Tea ~ Urtica Dioica

Stinging Nettle Root from the plant Urtica dioica is a specialized herb, which in herbal medicine is significantly different from the leaves of the same plant, as it focuses mainly on the urinary and hormonal systems.

The combination of Nettle Root with Dandelion Root creates one of nature's most powerful "tonic" drinks.

Why this combination?

Dandelion gives a deep, roasted flavor (like a coffee substitute), while Nettle root adds a mild, woody note.

How to make them together (Decoction)

Because both are roots (Dried Cut Roots) , they require the same preparation:

Put 1/2 teaspoon of each root in a saucepan with 300ml of water.

Simmer for 12-15 minutes .

Let it sit for 5 minutes and strain.

Add a slice of lemon to aid absorption of the ingredients.

If you want to make it even more delicious, you can add a little Cinnamon or Ginger.
