The Lemongrass , scientifically known as Cymbopogon citratus , is the "star" of Southeast Asia that has conquered the world with its explosive, refreshing aroma. Its dried cut leaves are the easiest way to have this freshness in your kitchen all year round.

Cooking & Mixology

Lemongrass is a flavor "multi-tool":

Asian Soups: It is the soul of the famous Tom Yum . Add a spoonful of dried leaves to chicken or coconut broth for an instant exotic flavor.

Marinades: Goes incredibly well with seafood, fish and poultry . Try mixing it with ginger and garlic.

Iced Tea & Cocktails: Make a strong infusion, let it cool and use it as a base for homemade lemonade or to flavor a Gin & Tonic.

Aromatic Rice: Throw a few leaves into the water boiling rice (e.g. Basmati) for a wonderful, subtle aroma.

Preparation (Infusion)

Because they are leaves, we follow the infusion method :

Put 1-2 teaspoons in a cup.

Pour hot water (not boiling water).

Cover and wait 5-7 minutes
