Lemon Verbena Dried Leaves Leaf Loose Tea ~ Aloysia Citrodora

The dried Lemon Verbena, scientifically known as Aloysia citrodora , is one of the most aromatic and beloved herbs of the Mediterranean. The choice of whole leaves (loose leaf) ensures the highest quality, as the essential oils that give it its characteristic aroma are preserved intact. 

Features

Aroma and Taste: It is distinguished by its intense, fresh lemon aroma and its clean, slightly sweet taste. It is softer and less "astringent" than lemongrass or lemon balm.

Active Ingredients: It is rich in verbascoside and citral, substances with strong antioxidant and soothing effects.

Preparation Instructions

Quantity: 1 tablespoon of leaves per cup.
Temperature: Water at 90°C (just before boiling).
Time: Leave it covered for 5-7 minutes . It is also excellent as a cold tea with a little honey.

Louisa is great for cooking, especially in marinades for fish, chicken or in fruit salads for a lemony aftertaste.
