Pure Chios mastic essential oil is steam-distilled from the resin of Pistacia lentiscus trees cultivated in southern Chios, Greece. It has a clean, woody, resinous aroma with fresh pine notes.

Aromatic use

Add a few drops to a suitable diffuser according to the diffuser manufacturer's instructions.

Cosmetic formulation

For topical formulations, dilute thoroughly in a suitable carrier oil and perform a patch test before wider use.
