Eucalyptus Dried Leaves Loose Herbal Tea ~ Eucalyptus Globulus

Origin:Albania

The Eucalyptus is a genus of fast-growing evergreen trees and shrubs, native to Australia, known for their aromatic leaves and multiple therapeutic properties. In Greece, the most widespread species is Eucalyptus globulus.

How to prepare tea

Dosage: Use about 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of dried leaves per cup of water.

Method: Add the leaves to hot water (just before boiling, about 90-95°C).

Time: Leave covered for 5-10 minutes . The cover is important to prevent the valuable essential oils from evaporating.

Combinations: It goes well with honey (which soothes the throat) and a little lemon .

Keep the leaves in a dark, cool and dry place (preferably in a glass jar) to preserve their aroma and properties.
