Butcher's Broom Root , scientifically known as Ruscus aculeatus , is a traditional medicinal herb that has been used for centuries to support the circulatory system. The whole rhizome is considered the best form for decoction, as it preserves its active ingredients unchanged. 

Preparation Instructions

Dosage: Add 1-2 teaspoons of the rhizome to a pot of water (approximately 250ml).

Boiling: Simmer the mixture for 5 to 10 minutes .

Extraction: Remove from heat and leave covered for another 5 minutes.

Serving: Strain and drink it hot. Its taste is slightly bitter and earthy, so you can add a little honey.

Store in an airtight glass container , in a cool and shady place. The whole rhizome has a long shelf life and retains its properties for at least 2 years , as long as it is protected from moisture.
