White Pepper Ground Powder ~ Piper Νigrum

The ground white pepper( White Pepper Ground ) comes from the ripe fruits of the Piper nigrum plant , from which the outer casing has been removed after soaking in water. It is distinguished by its milder but "clean" capsule and its earthy aroma, making it essential for dishes where appearance and delicate flavor take priority. It is a source of manganese, iron, fiber and vitamins A and C.

Culinary Uses

White pepper is the chefs' "secret weapon" for dishes that require uniformity without black spots:

White Sauces: Ideal for béchamel, Alfredo sauce, hollandaise and velouté.

Light-Colored Dishes: Used in mashed potatoes, cauliflower, soups (such as fish soup) and eggs.

Asian Cuisine: It is a key ingredient in Chinese and Thai recipes, such as "hot and sour" soup and various stir-fries.

Add it at the end of cooking , as prolonged boiling can give it a bitter taste.

Ground pepper loses its flavor faster than whole grains, so store it in an airtight container in a cool, shady place.
