Redbush Rooibos Red Tea Loose Leaf ~ Asplathus Linearis

Origin: Africa.

The tea Rooibos (Redbush) comes from the plant Aspalathus linearis , a shrub that grows exclusively in the Cederberg Mountains of South Africa. It is a naturally caffeine-free beverage, known for its characteristic reddish color and sweet, earthy flavor with hints of nuts. 

Preparation Instructions

Rooibos is durable and does not become bitter easily, even with prolonged extraction. 

Water Temperature: Use freshly boiled water at 95-100°C .

Quantity: 1-2 teaspoons per cup (approximately 250ml).

Extraction Time: Leave for 5-10 minutes to fully release the aromas and antioxidants.

Serving: Enjoy it plain, with honey, lemon or even with a drop of milk (like black tea).
