Passiflora Passion Flower Dried Leaves & Stems ~ Passiflora Incarnata

The dried leaves and stems of Passiflora Incarnata (Passionflower), also known as "clockwork", are mainly used to prepare a relaxing herbal tea that helps treat anxiety and insomnia. 

Main Characteristics & Uses 

Taste: Mild, earthy, with a slightly "herby" aftertaste and notes reminiscent of hay.

Culinary Use: It is mainly used as an aromatic infusion (tea). It combines wonderfully with honey, lemon or other herbs such as mint and chamomile for a more complex flavor.

Decorative Use: Dried stems and leaves can be added to potpourri for a natural, herbal scent to the space.

How to Make Tea

Use 1-2 teaspoons (about 2g) of dried herb per cup.

Add boiling water and let it steep for 10-15 minutes .

Strain and enjoy. It has a mild, earthy flavor with slightly floral notes.
