The tea made from dried, chopped verbasco leaves (also known as mullein or verbascum , Verbascum thapsus) is a traditional herbal decoction, highly valued for its beneficial properties on the respiratory system. 

How to Prepare Tea

Add 1-2 teaspoons of dried leaves to a cup of boiling water.

Let it infuse for 10-15 minutes .

Important: Strain the tea very carefully (e.g. with a paper coffee filter or cheesecloth) to remove the tiny hairs on the leaves, which can cause throat irritation.
