The Locust Bean Gum, also known as locust bean pectin, is a natural thickening and stabilizing agent in powder form extracted from the seeds of the carob tree ( Ceratonia siliqua ). It is a gluten-free product , completely plant-based and suitable for vegan diets, as it is an ideal alternative to animal gelatin.
