The Incense Pure Greek Byzantine Frankincense is a traditional Athonite incense of superior quality, renowned for its warm, sweet and mystical aroma. It is handmade by monks on Mount Athos (such as in the Sacred Cell of Saint Eleftherios of the Skete of Saint Anne), following age-old Athonite recipes that blend natural resin with fine aromatic oils.

The Byzantine fragrance is designed to convey a sense of liturgical grandeur and spiritual upliftment.

Profile: Described as a combination of floral and spicy notes. It includes notes of geranium, lily, and wild berries , which are rounded out with neroli, cinnamon, clove, warm vanilla, and galbanum .

Burning Quality: Burns evenly and lasts until the end, without leaving residue or creating a stifling atmosphere.

Instructions for Use & Storage

Burning: Use a quick-igniting charcoal and wait for it to be covered by a layer of ash before placing 2-3 grains of incense.
