The Greek Organic Raw Carob Syrup is one of the oldest and most nutritious sweeteners of the Mediterranean. It is produced from the pods of the carob tree (Ceratonia siliqua), mainly in Crete, using methods that preserve its nutrients.

Nutritional Value & Properties

Carob syrup is a health "bomb", often called the "black gold" of Greece. 

Rich in Calcium: It contains almost three times more calcium than milk (350mg per 100g versus 120mg in milk), making it ideal for preventing osteoporosis.

Caffeine-Free: Unlike cocoa, it does not contain stimulants such as caffeine or theobromine, making it suitable for children and consumption before bedtime.

Rich in Vegetable Fiber: Helps with proper bowel function and treating constipation. 

Ways of Use

Raw carob honey has a distinctive, sweet flavor reminiscent of caramel and chocolate. 

Sweetener: Ideal substitute for sugar in cakes, sweets and pastries.

Breakfast & Snacks: Goes great with yogurt , tahini, cereal, ice cream, even on pancakes or fresh salads.

Beverages: Can be added to hot or cold beverages, tea and coffee.
