The GreekMountain Tea ( Sideritis raeseri ) is one of the most popular herbs in Greece, known for its absence of caffeine and its rich antioxidants.properties. It is mainly collected at high altitudes and is traditionally consumed to boost the immune system and relieve colds . 

Method of Preparation

To fully enjoy its benefits and aroma:

Quantity: Use 1-2 strands (about 2-3g) for each cup of water.

Decoction: Place the tea in boiling water, reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes .

Infusion: Alternatively, pour hot water over the herb and leave it covered for 5-10 minutes.

Serving: It is ideally combined with honey and a few drops of lemon , which helps in the absorption of the iron contained in the plant.

You can also enjoy it as a cold drink in the summer, by letting it infuse in the refrigerator for 12 hours.
