Goldenrod Golden Rod Dried Leaves & Stems Loose Herb Tea ~ Solidago

Origin: Hungary.

The decoction of dried leaves and stems Goldenrod (Solidago) is a traditional herbal drink, known primarily for its urinary tract support and anti-inflammatory properties. It has a mildly astringent and slightly bitter flavor with earthy notes, which is often enhanced by the addition of honey.

Preparation Instructions 

Dosage: Use 1-2 teaspoons of dried herb for each cup (approximately 250ml) of water.

Temperature: Boil water and let it reach 85-90°C .

Extraction: Pour hot water over the herb, cover the container and leave for 5-10 minutes . The longer it is left, the more intense and bitter the flavor becomes.

Serving: Strain and enjoy neat or with honey and lemon. 

Keep the herb in an airtight glass container, in a cool and shady place to protect its essential oils.
