Green Rooibos Herbal Tea Loose Leaf ~ Asplathus Linearis

Origin: South Africa

The Green Rooibos ( Aspalathus linearis ) is the unoxidized version of the traditional "red tea" from South Africa. It stands out for its lighter, herbal and slightly sweet flavor, while retaining more antioxidants due to its minimal processing. 

Green Rooibos contains up to 10 times more aspalathin (a powerful antioxidant) than red.

Preparation Instructions

Quantity: 1-2 teaspoons (approximately 2g) per 240ml of water.

Temperature: Use water that has just boiled ( 95-100°C ). Unlike green tea, Rooibos does not become bitter at high temperatures.

Time: Let it steep for 5-10 minutes . The longer it stays, the more antioxidants are released.

Serving: Drink hot or cold. Goes great with lemon, honey or fresh fruit.
