The decoction from dried leaves and stems of Cleavers , also known as galium ( Galium aparine ), offers a drink with a mild, green and "refreshing" taste reminiscent of cucumber or freshly cut grass. It is one of the most popular herbs of spring, traditionally associated with cleansing the body and supporting the lymphatic system .

Taste : Slightly sweet and herbal, without strong bitterness, which makes it easy to consume even neat.

Category : It is classified as Dried Herbs . Although it is botanically related to coffee, it does not contain caffeine when prepared as a leaf infusion.

Temperature : Pour boiling water (approximately 95°C ) over the herb.

Time : Leave covered for 10-15 minutes .

Serving : It is pleasantly drunk warm, but it is also excellent as a cold drink (cold infusion), if you leave it in the refrigerator for a few hours.
